CrewLunch FAQ

How does Insurance work on the CrewLunch Trailers?

All trailers are safety inspected by CVIP certified 3rd party mechanics yearly. While on locatuion they ill be covered by the Production's blanket policy. Otherwise, they're covered for any eventuality by the Owner.

Who hauls/sets up the Trailers?

The Lunchbox Trailers are hauled using a tractor power unit and class 1 driver. Typically, they can be leap-frogged to the next location after lunch or breakfast with plenty of time to get back for the company move at the end of the day. The Locations team has always been in charge of CrewLunch infrastructure. Once they are parked, it takes one PA about 10-15 mins to set each trailer up (including tables and chairs). SetBox is hauled and set up by its Owner/Operator.

How much do the Trailers rent for?

Request A Quote! Every project is a little different. We'll work out a custom quote based on your scenario and budget.

Can I rent a Trailer for a day?

Unless the usage is for a part-day, a day and a half is the minimum rental period (after mob / de-mob, travel, set up for early breakfast, cleaning, etc.). There's no maximum rental duration.

Can I get a discount for a longer project / Run-Of-Show?

We work with your budget. Get in contact and we'll work out the best price for your project. Long term, run-of-show rentals receive preferred pricing.

Can the CrewLunch Trailers be parked off-road?

Yes! The entire fleet has worked at 6000' above sea level at the base of Fortress Mountain. The advantage is that the Circus / Base-Camp can stay in a central location and catering and the CrewLunch trailers can move with the crew to limit shuttles!

Are the LunchBox Trailers & SetBox too big to manoeuvre in the City?

No! The Lunchbox Trailers can go wherever the Circus / Base-Camp can. If they need to park on the street vs. a parking lot, the locations team will only need to close the road or reduce the lanes to allow for the slides to pop-out safely. One extra request on the street use permit.

What is the difference between tents and the CrewLunch Trailers?

Besides battling wedding season for tent availability, tents require a lengthy quote, PO, delivery, setup, tear-down process which eats up valuable resources. Every piece is another line item rental. Heat, lighting, A/C, tables & chairs and weights - all extra. Tents sometimes require a building permit depending on where and how you want them set up. CrewLunch trailers are cheaper, include everything needed & arrive on location and are easily set up in 10-15 mins either by us or a Driver, Location PA or ALM whom we train. Tents are impossible to keep cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Your Crew deserves a comfortable space to eat for their 30 minute lunch. Lastly, CrewLunch Trailers don't blow away and risk damage or injury (see video below).
